Boris Boom will present his work at MEMS 2017

Boris Boom will present his work on ultra low-noise MEMS accelerometers at the MEMS 2017 conference, January 22-26 in Las Vegas. This work is a joint project with the Nikhef institute in Amsterdam. The aim of the project is to realize dense arrays of highly sensitive accelerometers to monitor seismic fields around gravitational wave detectors. The sensors will also to be utilized in survey networks for oil and gas exploration.
