IDS technician Kevin Batenburg features the frontpage of NEVAC (Dutch Vacuum organisation).
"Although he had registered for the Elementary Vacuum Technology (EVT) course, Kevin Batenburg decided to take the Vacuum Technology (VT) exam during the previous academic year. He passed with flying colours: with a 9.5 he achieved the best result. Batenburg earns his living as a process technologist at the University of Twente, where he is part of the Integrated Devices and Systems research group. In the cleanroom he works with vacuums almost daily, for example when he ‘coats’ semiconductors with layers of material that are only a few nanometres thick."
