- Jelle Bakker gives best EuMA PhD pitchAt the RF Benelux Conference, Jelle Bakker was awarded the prize for the best PhD pitch, sponsored by the European Microwave Association. He worked on the characterization of photodiodes in 22nm FDSOI. The realized diodes proved to work very well, showing potential for high‐speed optical receivers with heavy digital on‐chip processing. Congratulations Jelle!Read more
- Racing Down the Slopes of Moore’s LawAt ISSCC 2024, Bram Nauta gave an invited plenary presentation, "Racing Down the Slopes of Moore’s Law", which discusses the future of Moore's law, what this means for analog circuit design, and how this results in his call to stop building linear amplifiers and adapt a new FoM for ADCs.Read more
