DSI Community Event

Where cyber meets esports

At the 26th of January, the Digital Society Institute organizes its first community event of 2023. During this event, we will kick off with a keynote speech by Dave Maasland on cybersecurity. After, we will move to UT's recently opened Esportslounge in the Bastille, where colleague and founder of the Esportslab Guido Bruinsma will share more about all the esports activities at the UT. Afterwards, you can play a game and we open the bar for some drinks!

A great moment to meet, inspire and have some fun!

Keynote on cybersecurity

As CEO at ESET Netherlands and with a lot of experience as a public speaker, he can give very inspiring speeches, as some of you maybe have seen during the Risk & Resilience festival. Specially tailored to the UT, Dave will prepare a talk with lots of opportunities to ask question and to interact on the challenges posed to us as UT-researchers.

Esports Lounge

At the Esports Lounge in the Bastille, our colleague Guido Bruinsma will share more about the UT's esports activities. After that, it's game on! You'll be able to play a variety of games together with the Esports Team Twente and view your own game data!
