The CEEP is the Education Evaluation Committee for the bachelor programme Technical Computer Science and the bachelor programme Business Information Technology. The CEEP is an independent committee and exists to monitor the quality of the bachelor programme. During the panel meetings, the modules are evaluated with students and staff.
Once or twice a module, the CEEP organizes evaluation meetings. Students can give feedback on the organization of the module, commitment of teaching assistants, workload, lectures, tutorials and difficulty of exams or any other aspect of the module. Students are asked to address both positive aspects of the module and points to improve.
During the evaluations, all raised points by students, as well as the explanations and questions from the module coordinator, are put in writing. Both students and the module coordinator are asked to approve the minutes. Apart from the module coordinator, the report is also sent to the programme committees. This way, the module coordinator has all points that were raised by students in writing and can address them, if needed.
The module coordinator and sometimes other staff, attend the evaluation meeting as well to react to the feedback. The CEEP itself consists of students and as students we want the opinion of other students to be heard therefore we always ensure that there is a healthy dialogue between students and staff.
The evaluation meetings are usually organized during the lunch break. Sometimes, there is one meeting in the middle of a module to implement given feedback. Often, there is a meeting at the end of a module.
Master's courses can also be evaluated by CEEP on request or when the number of participants is low.
