With great effort, CELT has built a unique AI hub in our Canvas environment, collaborating with many UT partners: a platform where peers can share all kinds of AI-literacy-related material.
Think not only of AI as a topic, but we want to integrate it into our curriculum for our students so they learn how to use this technology securely. But also think about AI as a tool to make your professional life as a teacher easier: an instrument supporting you in designing parts of your courses, saving you time in the assessments of exams, or other administrative tasks your former TA's might have supported you with.
Lessons learnt from peers, links to tools tested and licensed by LISA, and the helpful assistance of CELT in this matter. Please celebrate the launch of this bottom-up sharing platform by joining us for this informal but hopefully festive afternoon with a few short presentations and ample time for questions and answers. Please sign up so we can arrange a lightweight bite and a drink for those attending!
PROGRAM 10 February
- 15.00-16.00 : short talks of those involved in the AI-literacy project at the UT and an introduction to the hub.
- 16.00-17.00: informal discussion, a few drinks & bites provided, amongst experts and newcomers so as to learn from each other's tips & tricks.
Earlier that day, during the lunch slot, two teachers will share their experiences on integrating AI into their courses, discussing both successes and challenges. This session is highly recommended, particularly for teachers interested in implementing AI to help the students learn how to code (themselves!). Please see here for signing up as well!
What can I find in the Hub?
- Essential information centred around the most frequently asked questions
- Practical resources (such as templates, guidelines, etc.) for you to use in your education
- Examples from UT educational practice and beyond
