On the 19 and 20 October, the Digital Twin Geohub organises a seminar on Digital Twins. The aim of the event is to share experiences, exchange ideas and establish new partnerships.
We plan to start both days with inspiring talks from academic, governmental and private institutions and the two afternoons are planned for “hands-on experience” in the forms of games and mini-workshops.
Digital Twins
Digital Twins can be seen as digital replicas of the physical living environments that support decision-making through the seamless integration of a myriad of data and analytics techniques. As such, a digital twin is not a mere geometric (2D and 3D) representation of static assets but a dynamic/live model that represents their past, current, and future states. Nowadays, many public, private and academic institutions are working on this topic.
For whom
The seminar is free of charge and intended for all researchers and students at Dutch universities, academies, companies, government agencies and institutes who are curious about the field of digital twinning based on sensor data. Registration will open soon.
