Primo Ballerino, the ballet dance association of the University of Twente is looking for a
BALLET INSTRUCTOR & CHOREOGRAPHER
This position is available from February 2024 due to the departure of the current instructor.
THE ASSOCIATION
Our student association, Primo Ballerino, is passionate about ballet and offers students the opportunity to develop their dance skills. We have been in existence for five years and currently have approximately 50 members, all studying in Twente. Our weekly classes take place on the university campus. During the classes, we focus on both technique and the teaching of choreographies. There are two hours of classes per week. Additionally, we organize two performances per year, allowing students to showcase their dance abilities. In addition to regular classes, we host various activities to enhance member engagement and create a close-knit community, contributing to a positive atmosphere in the lessons.
DESIRED QUALITIES
Primo Ballerino is seeking a ballet instructor & choreographer who: Holds a dance instructor diploma or is currently pursuing one. Has experience in creating ballet choreographies. Can provide enthusiastic, inspiring, and energetic instruction. Can challenge multiple levels, from beginner to intermediate. Is available on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:00 (two hours) and approximately two times per year on weekends. Speaks fluent English and is willing to teach in English.
