Workshop effective outreach

In the workshop Effective Outreach you will be working on your public profile and learning different ways to reach various audiences. The main objective is to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to engage with your audience.

The workshop will get you started in creating your own story. It will give you information on different media like Radio/TV, print and social media. The end result will be that you understand what (social) media channels you can use to reach your audience. You have made a start with your science story and are able to start using the social media channel for outreach and dissemination.

In the workshop you work and learn together with your peers, discussing different approaches and personal touches that fit you as a person. We will discuss the positive and possible negative aspects of media attention.

The workshop will end around 13.00h. Please bring your own lunch, this is not provided for by the organiser.
