Inferential Statistics

The course Inferential Statistics will start in week 10 of Q1 (so on November 7th). This (new) course too will be organized in a way similar to the RM&DS course, allowing you to do this course too at your own pace, although there will be more on Campus meetings too (which are not obligatory).

After completion of this course, you will be able to, in general terms:

  1. correctly select from a set of the most important univariate, bivariate and multivariate inferential statistical methods to describe and test characteristics of variables and relationships between variables;
  2. carry out the most important univariate, bivariate and multivariate inferential statistical analyses using R for statistics;
  3. correctly interpret and report about output of these univariate, bivariate and multivariate inferential statistical analyses.

Important note:  this course requires participation at quite a few sessions.  Therefore study the time requirements carefully and only register if you are able and committed to finishing it.

More information about this course (which is currently under construction) will be provided in the beginning of October 2022.
