Being a smoker these days proves to be not that easy: it is prohibited to smoke in pubs, restaurants and even stations. It becomes less more fun altogether. University of Twente therefore wants to give something to its smoking employees rather than taking something away. We value the health and well-being of our employees very much and therefore we want to invite all (smoking) employees for the Allen Carr’s Easy way to stop smoking online seminar.

Why did we choose the Allen Carr Easyway online seminar?

There are 3 main reasons:

1.    High success rate

Several independent studies show that this method has a much higher success rate than other methods.

2.    No motivation required

The motivation grows during the seminar (and you continue to smoke during the seminar).

3.    Length of the training

The seminar only takes about 6 hours. Allen Carr’s Easyway also offers “after care” which means you can sign up for follow-up sessions or call the help line.

The Allen Carr trainers & method

All the therapists are former smokers who themselves quit using the Easyway approach and all are licensed Members of the Association of Allen Carr Therapists International.

You can be assured that when you attend an Allen Carr's Easyway online seminar you will see someone who has quit with the Easyway Method, was a former heavy smoker, understands your problems and fears and will have empathy with your current situation.

The online seminar does not concentrate on the reasons why the smoker should not smoke: the money, the addiction, the health risks and the stigma. Smokers know all that already. Instead, the method focuses on why smokers continue to smoke in spite of the obvious disadvantages. Smokers quit with the Allen Carr's Easyway method as happy non-smokers, not feeling deprived, but with a huge sense of relief and elation that they have finally achieved what they have always wanted.

What if I am not motivated enough?

In fact, every smoker has the motivation to quit. The problem is that there is something in the way of the motivation. And that's because of the fear. The fear that life will be less complete without cigarettes, that social occasions will always be less fun, that you'll always feel something is missing, that you'll be less able to deal with stressful and difficult situations, that you'll be less able to concentrate, that you're bound to fail, that the first few weeks will be torturous.

Although understandable, these fears can be removed completely. After the session you will feel less anxious and have no desire to smoke anymore.

All that you need is an open mind and in no time at all you'll be a happy non-smoker.

There are regular smoking breaks during the online session. Only at the end of the training will you smoke your last cigarette.
