CONTENT
The course consists of three components with the following order: 1) an online self-study course (4 weeks), 2) an interactive session (half-day), 3) and finalizing research data management plan (DMP).
- Online Self-Study Course
You will begin with an online self-study course on Canvas and instructions for completing the module will be provided with an email. This online self-study course helps you to draft an initial DMP, which is due submission one week before the interactive session. - Interactive Session
After completing the online self-study course and writing the first draft of DMP, you will join the mandatory half day interactive session focusing on data management practices tailored to your faculty specific field. Data steward(s) at your faculty will introduce discipline-specific practices and you can ask questions and have discussions with peers. Details of the session will be communicated through an email. - Final Research Data Management Plan
Following the interactive session, you will be expected to make revisions to your DMP and data steward(s) will guide you through the process. Upon successful completion of your DMP, you will receive your certificate.
