On Thursday 25 April another edition of the SucCES café took place. Quest speaker Daniel Braun took us on a journey through the world of AI.
The lecture began with a definition of AI (which is apparantly very difficult to make) and continued with an explanation how we got from simpel AI to the AI that is now available. From the participants almost 50% indicated already to have used AI. The next part was about the different types of AI, besides the more known AI such as ChatGPT, Deeple and Copliot, there are a lot more different types with different purposes. Lastly, Daniel indicated the dangers and flaws of using AI. There was also the possibility to send in and ask questions, which resulted in a lot of interesting questions.
