As Graduate RF IC (Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit) Design Engineer, you will join MediaTek’s highly experienced RF design team, which has an outstanding track record of delivering innovative RF products.
As Graduate RF Design Engineer, your main focus will be on delivering highly competitive RF products with leading-edge performance, using innovative circuit implementations. Your key responsibilities will be the specification, design, implementation and verification of key RF circuit blocks for next generation multi-standard cellular radios in advanced CMOS technologies. This will include working on solutions for 4G, 5G and beyond.
You will have a good Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Microelectronics (or another relevant subject) as a minimum academic qualification.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Master’s degree in Microelectronics. Modules should include Analogue Design/ and or Analogue and Mixed Signal CMOS Design (or similar)
• Relevant thesis/ dissertation topic in analogue design area
• Strong academic background
• Passion to develop a successful career in RF IC design
Desirable Skills & Experience
• PhD in a relevant field
• Relevant work experience, such as a placement or internship within an electronics company or department would be a bonus
• Exposure to RF IC design would be ideal, but is not essential
Our UK RF Design Centre is located in West Malling, Kent (just outside London in the beautiful Kentish countryside). This location offers an excellent choice of living environments, from traditional rural villages and local towns such as Maidstone or Tunbridge Wells, to South London suburbs such as Bromley or Blackheath. The design centre is conveniently located within one hour of four main London airports, and just half an hour from Eurostar and Eurotunnel terminals.
