Group overnight stay in nature? Rent our log cabins on campus!

Looking for a unique and affordable place to stay with your student association, sports team, introduction group, or other activity? On the green campus of the University of Twente, nine cozy log cabins are available for your group stay!

Together, the cabins can accommodate up to 116 people. It's the perfect location for an informal overnight stay surrounded by nature – yet close to all campus facilities.

What to expect:

• Choose from 12- or 16-person log cabins
• 12-person cabin: ground floor with 5 bunk beds, upper floor with 5 single beds 16-person cabin: ground floor with 8 bunk beds
• Electricity and storage space available
• Sanitary building nearby (approx. 25 meters), with separate areas for men and women
• ‘De Stall’ indoor group space available for activities (available at an additional cost)
• Heating available to keep cabins frost-free

Please note: the cabins are simply furnished. Cooking is not possible and there are no tables or chairs inside. Guests should bring their own sleeping bag or duvet, pillowcase, towel, and mattress cover. A mattress, pillow, and two blankets are provided on each bed.

During weekends, the university's educational buildings are closed. However, the Sports Centre, Vrijhof theatre café, and an on-campus supermarket remain open.

Rates

• €250 per cabin per night (excluding VAT)
• 10% discount for University of Twente students and staff

The reservation and cancellation policies of the University of Twente Sports Centre apply to all agreements.

For certain events, activities or sports tournaments, it is possible to camp at designated places on the campus. For a reservation of the camping grounds contact the backoffice of the Sports Centre. Camping on campus in some cases requires a permit, with an application time of at least 12 weeks.

The U Parkhotel is located on the campus of the University of Twente, on the edge of the forest. It is an internationally oriented hotel, where quality and sustainability go hand in hand. The U in the international name refers to the guest who is central and to the University of Twente.

The hotel offers 72 rooms, a spacious restaurant with a terrace, a bar and modern conference facilities. On the 9th floor, there are eight executive rooms and a boardroom with a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.

Hotel De Broeierd, part of the Fletcher Hotels chain, is located right next to our campus. With 61 luxury hotel rooms, three spacious suites and 15 garden rooms with a private terrace, this is an excellent location to spend the night close to the campus.
