IHCI is a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and advancements in the interdisciplinary field of human-computer interaction.
We invite all reserachers, pratcitioners and prfessionals in the field of human-computer interaction to submit original research papers.
Paper topics
The papers can be on a diverse set of topics within the IHC domain, such as
- User experience design and evaluation

- Cognitive and affective aspects of interaction
- User-centered design and innovation

- (Generative) AI-supported HCI applications

Paper categories
We encourage you to submit your papers under one of the following categories:
- Full research papers, with original research contributions with novel methodologies, findings, and implications with lenght of 10-12 pages.
- Short papers, with concise research papers, work-in-progress, or preliminary results which are 4-6 pages long.
- Case studies and applications paper, which showcase real-world applications of HCI principles and technologies and are 4-6 pages long.
- Industry papers, highlighting industry perspectives, challenges, and innovations in HCI which are 4-6 pages long.
- Session Proposal, Abstract that describes a proposal for a special session or workshop [1 page]
Guidelines
The paper submitted must be written in English. The papers must follow the confernece's formatting guidelines: Springer LNCS templates. Based on the category, the paper lenght must be between 10 to 12 pages for full papers, short papers between 4 and 6 pages and case studies and indusrty papers must be between 4 to 6 pages. References, tables and figues are included in the lenght limits. 15 pages is the absolute maximum. After page 12, each page needs to be paid for 50$ per additional page.
Review process
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by an expert panel of reviewers. Submissions will be evaluated based on their originality, significance, technical quality, and clarity of presentation.
Publication
The accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published in digital format in Lecture Notes on Computer Science (LNCS) by Springer and made available to conference attendees. The proceedings will be indexed in Scopus, Google Scholar, DBLP, ACM Digital Library, and other relevant databases. Selected papers may be considered for publication in relevant journals or special issues.
