Summary
Rick van Urk is a PhD Candidate within the department Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems at the University of Twente (Enschede). He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management (2012). Rick’s main activity is research on the Cargo Hitching project. The Cargo Hitching project aims at integrating people and freight transportation networks. Rick is doing research on the real-time decision making involved in the Cargo Hitching project. This includes package routing and modality selection.
