Master graduation project vacancy @ OVSoftware: Interorganisational integration in the travel industry
In the tourist sector there are many small businesses offering holiday arrangements, which are not connected to large booking systems or integrated in the processes of booking organizations. OVSoftware wants to develop (together with such a company) a solution in the form of an open platform for the integration of such small suppliers of holiday destinations and booking organizations. This is the core assignment that has to be carried out during this graduation project. More specifically we expect that this project will result in the following deliverables:
- Design, system architecture, and integration middleware (by means of a service bus) of an open integration platform, enriched with specific user interfaces for small travel companies;
- Functional requirements for the platform: API for small suppliers, data aggregation, data processing (normalization and standardization of data), orchestration between organizations, API for reporting and data mining for booking organizations
- Functional requirements for the user interface of travel companies: dashboard for reporting and data mining
- Non-functional requirements: Make use of open source / open standards
- Development of a prototype as proof of concept
- Implementation plan for the development of the commercial platform
- Development of a business case/model for such a platform.

Vacature master afstudeeropdracht @ OVSoftware: Inter-organisatorische integratie kleine aanbieders in reis/vakantie-sector
In de reiswereld bestaan vele kleinere aanbieders van vakantiebestemmingen die geen automatische aansluiting hebben bij de grote boekingssystemen en -processen van de boekingsorganisaties. OVSoftware wil samen met een klant in de reis/vakantie-sector (hierna: ‘reisorganisatie’) een oplossing ontwerpen en bouwen in de vorm van een open platform voor deze aanbieders en de boekingsorganisaties.
- Ontwerp proces- en systeemarchitectuur van een open platform/’Service Bus’ en specifieke user interface voor de ‘reisorganisatie’
- Functionaliteit platform: API voor kleine aanbieders, data aggregatie, data verwerking (normalisatie datastromen en deze in de juiste standaard aanbieden), orchestration tussen organisaties, API voor rapportage en datamining door boekingsorganisaties
- Functionaliteit user interface ‘reisorganisatie’: dashboard voor rapportage en datamining
- Gebruik maken van open source / open standaarden
- Bouw prototype als proof of concept
- Plan van aanpak voor bouw en implementatie
- Eerste ruwe opzet van een business case voor een dergelijk platform
