Maarten Renkema is a PhD researcher at the University of Twente in the field of Human Resource Management & Innovation. He obtained his two Master degrees: in Business Administration (University of Twente, 2014); and in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship (Technische Universität Berlin, 2014). His Master thesis research was focused on social movements that aim to instigate institutional innovation using online activism tactics. Currently Maarten is working on the NWO Human Capital project “Innovative Human Resource Management for Employee-Driven Innovation.” Involved in supervision from the HRM chair are Prof. Dr. Tanya Bondarouk, Dr. Jeroen Meijerink and Dr. Anna Bos-Nehles.
