Milana Korotka is a PhD researcher in Human Resource Management and Innovation at the University of Twente. Milana studied Economics and Entrepreneurship (BSc 2010) and Innovation Strategy (MSc 2011) at the University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, Kyiv, Ukraine. Milana holds a Master degree in European Studies (Regulation track) from the University of Twente, the Netherlands (2012). In her MSc thesis she conducted research into the proximity factors influencing academics’ decisions to co-operate with industry, using the case study of the University of Twente’s research institutes. Before starting PhD, Milana worked as a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Public Administration (PA) at the University of Twente. The scope of her research was regional innovative development and the role of monitoring and evaluation in the cohesion policy 2014-2020 on the regional level. At the moment Milana is involved in the in the NWO project “Innovative HRM for Employee-Driven Innovation”. Her current research focuses on the role of HRM configurations in the HRM and performance link. The project is supervised by Prof. dr. Tanya Bondarouk, Dr. Anna Bos-Nehles and Dr. Jeroen Meijerink.
