Henk Jan is a PhD researcher at the University of Twente at the faculty of Behavioural Management and Social Sciences (BMS) of the Human Resource Management and Innovation department. He has graduated with a cum laude Master Degree from the Business Administration program (Radboud University, 2016). Before that he acquired his Post-Academic Master Degree in Management and Organisation from the Tias Nimbas Business School (Tilburg University, 2001). Henk Jan has worked in the health care sector as an operational psychiatric nurse, an executive manager or director in various organizations. Now he is working at Saxion University of Applied Sciences as a teacher and researcher in the faculty of commerce and entrepreneurship. His case study research as an external PhD student will focus on what intrinsically motivates employees to show innovative work behaviour in relation with external circumstances. The project started in November 2016 and is supervised by promotor Prof. dr.Tanya Bondarouk and co promotor dr.ir. Jan de Leede.
