Ewold is an external PhD researcher at the University of Twente at the Human Resource Management department. In the same time, he works as a consultant in the field of HR & Employee Experience at Kirkman Company.
Ewold obtained his master degree in Business Administration with the specialization Change Management at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in 2009. Since October 2009 he has worked as a consultant both within the public and the private sector. At BMC he supported public institutions on the area of organizational effectiveness, planning and control. In addition he developed new innovative ways of using technology for a more interactive way of presenting financial and control information. In 2015 Ewold started as a consultant at Kirkman Company. He focuses on HR transformation enabled by HR technology and worked for different organizations in different branches.
Ewold’s PhD research focuses on the effects of innovative and digital technology, such as robotization, on the relationship between the manager and employee. He aims for a fruitful connection between research and practice in his combined work as a consultant and researcher.
