WTMC is the Netherlands Graduate Research School of Science, Technology and Modern Culture, a collective interdisciplinary effort of scholars of Science, Technology and Society Studies (STS) based in Dutch universities and research institutes. Since 2018 the Faculty BMS is the institutional host of WTMC, also because the thematic scope of WTMC makes an excellent fit with the current profile of BMS as a leading centre where behavioural, management, and social sciences meet technological sciences’.
The annual meeting takes place in De Balie, Amsterdam, on December 10, 2021, from 10:00 till 18:00. For on-site participation current Corona measures apply. A livestream is available on the WTMC website (open access). A couple of colleagues from the University of Twente will have an active role in the meeting. The programme includes a discussion of Annemarie Mol’s book “Eating in Theory” and a key note by James Wilsdon on “STS and Metascience”. The guiding theme of most sessions is “STS and Method”.
Please check the WTMC website for more information and the meeting programme.
