The National Day of Communication is the congress for every communication student and professional in The Netherlands. This year it will take place on the campus of the UT on the 17th of May.
This year’s theme is “Keep Calm and Communicate”. This means that the day will be filled with communication-themed lectures and workshops about crisis situations, safety and privacy. The event will be in English. A ticket only costs €5 (including lunch and closing drink).
The day is brought to life by the eight study associations that are related to communication sciences in the Netherlands. The idea came because there was a lack of congresses like this. The associations made a deal and since then the congress is organised annually by one or more of the associations. So, the day is fully organised by students. This year it’s S.v. Communiqué’s turn to organise the congress.
