DG Research and Innovation (European Commission) peer review of Poland’s Science and Higher Education system
Since 2015 the Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility (PSF) assists European countries in designing and implementing R&I policy reforms to improve the quality and impact of their R&I systems. The Polish government expressed its interest in an independent Peer Review to take place in 2017. In line with specific focus areas proposed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the aim of the PSF support is to provide external and independent advice and operational recommendations to the Polish government on possible reforms to undertake in the context of the on-going restructuring of the national Science and Higher Education system. The policy support process will be undertaken by a panel composed of five independent experts (including Jon File from CHEPS) and three senior officials (peers).
