Biomedical engineering is an increasingly important degree programme.
To be aware of all the developments and the possible influence on the programme a special external advisory committee has been established to promote the programme among potential employers and to attune the curriculum to the needs of the job market. This ensures that our graduates have excellent job prospects.
You will be prepared for a job as a biomedical engineer in healthcare, education, industry, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, small medical technology companies and laboratories. You might also find employment in management and policy jobs in governmental organizations, insurance companies, quality assurance companies, consultancies etc.
The WO-Monitor 2011 showed that over 70% of BME graduates had found gainful employment within six months.
