Co-Designing the Future we would like to live in

We live in a hyperconnected world. Today’s challenges are more complex than ever because they are part of complex societal, technological and environmental systems

In a complex world being an innovator, a trailblazer, a visionary is not enough. Working in isolation is not enough. Working from one perspective, one discipline one point of view is not enough. Working without understanding the impact of technology on society and on the individual is impossible.  We need to find new ways to collaborate and make sense of the complex world we live in, reflecting on human-technology relations.

In a micro-lecture, you are going to be introduced to approaches that will help you to work in trans-disciplinary ways to co-design the future we want to live in. Particularly,  an approach currently in development at the DesignLab that features a unique combination of Trans-disciplinary practices, responsible design thinking and societal involvement. Then, in an interactive session, you are going to practice a design-thinking inspired technique to collaborative make sense of a challenge.
