Inspiring alumni conference for student leaders

On October 10, student leaders had the opportunity to attend the annual Alumni Conference for Student Boards, hosted by the UT Alumni Office.

This event was designed to help study associations and student clubs connect with UT’s vast alumni network, which includes over 60,000 professionals in fields ranging from technology and business to science and entrepreneurship.

The conference featured insights from seasoned alumni, including Christine Mulrane, Dennis Peeters, and Famke van den Boom, who shared best practices on fostering alumni relationships. Student leaders learned how these connections can support initiatives such as organizing conferences, arranging company visits, and obtaining sponsorships.

With participation from a range of associations, including V.V. Harambee, Inter-Actief, and Study Association Stress, the conference highlighted the unique potential of alumni partnerships to enhance student-led projects. The Alumni Office and UFonds team extend their thanks to all attendees and look forward to continued collaboration, helping student boards make the most of the UT alumni network.
