Our very own Jacob Kamminga has expanded the smart bird-nest idea to create a new spin-off: Ecomoni.
Not so long ago, Jacob featured on prime time TV and spoke about this bird nest (Link). Ecomoni uses an algorithm to monitor the food of Dutch birds. Such monitoring provides insight into the species that live around such a house, and therefore into the biodiversity there. The smart bird-nest has gained significant traction with several notable stakeholders purchasing it.
Ecomoni is another example of the highly relevant and impactful research that we at PS do.
