YAN workshop: Choose Impact

Your appearance counts?!

This question will be discussed during the Young Alumni Network workshop on June 2nd, 2022. During this fun, light-hearted, educational and inspiring workshop, you will learn about how your appearance matters and how you can make use of this. The theme of the workshop is: "How our perceptions influence our brain and our behaviour: nudging in social interaction."

Get answers to questions like:

  • What is the influence of appearance in our daily communication and which 'buttons' can you turn on?
  • What color do you wear if you want to win?
  • What is the relationship between temperature and how likable you find someone?
  • What can you do to increase the chances of a successful negotiation?
  • How can you use your appearance to boost your career?

This interactive workshop is given by Marijke Glaubitz, behavioral scientist and of course UT alumnus. Positive behavioral change is her specialization.

You will go home with:

  • More awareness about how you tend to judge others, but how you can also control this for yourself.
  • Tools to strengthen your appearance and increase your reliability, to better connect with yourself and the other.
  • A great offer for completely personally tailored advice, especially for you as a young alumnus of the UT.

We are moving towards a time when we see each other less often. So the moments when we do see each other matter more and more.

Pay Attention! This workshop will be in Dutch.
