The annual Alumni Talks will take place again on Friday, October 6, 2023! As usual, prominent alumni reflect on their careers to date and reflect on the challenges in their current activities. The common thread in all of this: what drives them? An afternoon full of inspiration for every alumnus, student, employee, and other interested parties. With plenty of opportunities to ask questions in the room or during drinks!
Speakers 2023
This year we welcome Anke Huiskes, Richard Droste, and Raoul Zaal. Anke Huiskes studied Communication Sciences from 2002 to 2008. After graduating, she made a career in Silicon Valley: from employee to investor to founder. Anke is co-founder and Managing Partner of NP-Hard Ventures, a venture capital fund that invests in early-stage startups. She is committed to sustainability and diversity. Richard Droste studied Applied Physics from 1982 to 1987. After jobs at TNO and Philips, he made a career at ASML where he is now Vice President of Development & Engineering and head of the Business Line EUV-NXE. He is convinced that their machines have a soul and likes to explain this during the Alumni Talks. Raoul Zaal studied Industrial Engineering and Management from 1987 to 1994. Through FMCG, Energy, and eCommerce he made the transition to innovation in healthcare. After working for FocusCura and Luscii, he started his own start-up Syntilio at the beginning of this year to enable remote care. Visit this page for more information about the speakers.
