SUMMARY
Wenyi is a postdoc within IEBIS, working on the CargoHitching project under the supervisions of Martijn Mes, Marco Schutten and Henk Zijm. I hold Bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering and Economics at Xiamen University in China (2008), an MSc degree in Industrial Systems & Engineering at National University of Singapore (2009) and did my PhD at MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program in Zaragoza, Spain (2015). Previously, I was a postdoc at Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University in Canada, where I did research on the topics of reverse logistics/closed-loop supply chains in both developed countries and emerging economies. In general, my primary research interest is in the area of sustainable supply chain management, interfacing with economics, marketing and finance. To make sustainable operations economically attractive is my research goal.
