BACHELOR THESIS ASSIGNMENTS:

These assignments are only suitable for bachelor theses

On this website you will find the list of available bachelor thesis assignments offered by the specialization Positive Psychology and Technology.

PROCEDURE BACHELOR:

Coordinator: dr. Mirjam Radstaak (m.radstaak@utwente.nl

If you choose an assignment in the Positive Psychology and Technology (PPT) track:

Step 1: Make a top nine of your options for assignments with a maximum of 3 options per thematic clusters. These clusters are:

  1. Technological interventions in increasing well-being;
  2. Personalizing care;
  3. Principles of human flourishing;
  4. Mental Health in a digital age;
  5. Psychophysiological recovery and well-being;
  6. Well-being in social and societal contexts.

So, for example you can choose 3 assignments from cluster 1, 3 from cluster 4 and 3 from cluster 5. Or you can choose 2 assignments from cluster 1, 2, 3 and 6 and 1 from cluster 4.

From Monday 18th of January to Thursday 21st of January 2021 you can fill in the online registration form (link below) and specify your nine options. You can also upload your short motivation letter for a specific assignment (when so requested in the assignment; typically for externally commissioned assignments with few places available).

Note: Students who have permission from the coordinator to do their own thesis assignment still have to register. In this case, please select ‘own assignment’ as first option.

Step 2: At the end of January 2021 (at least before February 1st) you will receive an e-mail about the assignment you can start with and the supervisors assigned to you.

We will do our utmost best to take into account your preferred assignment when allocating assignments. However, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the assignment of your choice.

Step 3: After you have been informed by the coordinator about the assignment you can contact your supervisor to schedule the first meeting. The first meeting will be scheduled with all students on the same assignment.

Please note: Bachelor assignments on the website are provisional until January 17th and can be removed or altered. From 18 January onwards, the list of assignments will be definitive.
