Densely packed nanoemulsions for liquid chromatography
This project is a collaboration with the Korean Institute for Science and Technology (KIST) in Saarbrücken. It is based on previous research in the BIOS/Lab on a chip group, where it has been demonstrated that densely packed, highly regular and very stable nanoemulsions can be formed in micro-/nanofluidic channel systems.1 This project aims to use microchannels filled with such emulsions for pressure-driven or electric field-driven separation.
