Watercycle and climate

Water management is under pressure due to the growing demand for water, food and energy, alongside environmental challenges. To address this more effectively, we need a thorough understanding of the water cycle — including surface water, groundwater, oceans, and the atmosphere.

Measurements from space and from the ground provide us with valuable insights. By combining this data with digital models, we can find better solutions globally to water-related issues. At UT FieldLab, we develop intelligent tools to better understand and predict the water cycle and its components. We investigate how climate change affects our water resources and explore ways to adapt. Through smart water management, we can improve our quality of life. Shall we shape the future of water management together and make our world safer and more sustainable?
