The Kipaji Scholarship Fund will be in existence for exactly five years in 2021. Since its inception, scholarships have made a difference for five talented young people from developing countries. They are now part of the UT community for life. This year Elpha Arafin from Indonesia and Merhawi Fissehaye from Ethiopia received the fair. Elpha started the master Sustainable Energy Technology in September 2020. With the knowledge she learns in Twente, she wants to increase the share of reusable energy in her home country. Merhawi will start a Master Computer Science in February 2021 and hopes to start his own business and make a difference in his community. We wish them a lot of fun and happiness in Enschede!
