The European LEIS users have an annual LEIS workshop, up to now hosted by various LEIS users. During these meetings, we share latest results, but also have opportunities for informal discussion, with the aim to improve the understanding of the LEIS technique and improve the application perspective of LEIS analysis.
The LEIS workshop is being held in Europe almost every year since 2011, when it started as a meeting of the few IONTOF Qtac customers of the time. Since then, it grew to a very useful and lively event to share ideas about Low Energy Ion Scattering, both from a fundamental as well as from an applied perspective. The community mainly consists of Qtac users, but also users of other type of LEIS equipment regularly attend the workshop.
The LEIS workshop 2025 will be hosted by Dr. Daniel Primetzhofer from Uppsala University.
Lectures and posters are planned for Tuesday 3 June 2025.
