Arturo Susarrey-Arce and Linlin Pei recently attended the ECIU University Forum 2024, held from June 6-7 in Kaunas, Lithuania. Funded by Erasmus Mobility funds and VIS grants, this visit provided opportunities for sharing and exploring innovative educational practices.
During the forum, Arturo and Linlin conducted a workshop titled "Going Beyond Cultural Boundaries: Enhancing Students' Skills for Sustainability and Nanotechnology." They presented the curriculum development for the Nano Sustainability course and discussed the intercultural aspects of addressing global sustainability issues. Their interactive session also explored further education research collaboration with other ECIU universities. They engaged in conversations with Daniel Campos from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Agnė Šulčiūtė from Kaunas University of Technology, and a representative from a Swedish university.
The forum was a valuable experience, providing insights and fostering meaningful discussions that will contribute to the enhancement of the Nano Sustainability curriculum and future collaborative projects.
