Dr. Ritse Mann

BIOGRAPHY

Ritse Mann is breast and interventional radiologist at the Radboudumc in Nijmegen and the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. He is group leader of the breast imaging group, performing clinical breast imaging research at both institutions.

Areas of particular interest include breast cancer screening, breast MRI, minimal invasive therapy and the use of artificial intelligence for screening, diagnosis and therapy selection of breast cancer.

He is member of the executive board of the European society of breast imaging (EUSOBI) since 2015, current chairperson of the scientific committee and chair of the program planning committee of its annual meeting. He also chairs the working group on diagnostics from the Dutch breast cancer research group (BOOG). He is a member of the scientific advisory board of the Dutch cancer society (KWF), the clinical advisory board of the Oncode Institute, and is an advisory editorial board member to European Radiology and its sub-journals. Ritse Mann is course director of the annual “Nijmegen advanced breast imaging course”, several dedicated breast MRI courses, and the EACR conference on AI in cancer diagnostics. He is also a regular speaker at national and international courses and conferences on breast imaging and breast cancer in general.
