On June the 3rd and 4th 2021, the fourth edition of the NH3 Event was organized. This time, the conference was organized as an online-in person hybrid event. Our group members Kevin Rouwenhorst and Victor Sagel joined the discussion panel as table guests on the second day of the conference, discussing the current status and future prospects of renewable ammonia as a decarbonized energy carrier. Kevin joined all roundtable discussions, while Victor gave a presentation to discuss his techno-economic study on Power-to-Ammonia-to-Power as a feasible alternative to fossil fuels for power generation on the island of Curacao. Victor was awarded the first prize among academic presenters, implying a full waiver of the fee for the upcoming special issue on Ammonia as an Energy Carrier in the journal Energies.
Congratulations, Victor!
