Prof. Jimmy Faria receives best teacher award for CSE program 2025

Every year the educational director of the Chemical Science and Engineering program grants an award to the best teacher of the CSE program with approval of the Dean. This year, Prof. Dr. Jimmy Faria (CPM), was honored with this award. The letter stated that:

“Jimmy, you are a very enthusiastic and engaged lecturer in the Chemical Science & Engineering programme. You coordinate Module 5 in the bachelor's, you teach in several BSc and MSc courses and guide students for their final assignments, all with great energy and passion. You also chair the CSE Programme Committee, where you show that you are very committed to the programme. You take initiatives to get in contact with potential new students at high schools, by guiding a "profielwerkstuk" or planning a visit to a high school to talk about UT and CSE, and you are always present at the BSc Open Days at the weekend to enthusiastically inform prospective students about chemical engineering in a guest lecture. We thank you for your dedicated involvement in the CSE programme; it is very much appreciated.

Congratulations on winning the CSE Education prize 2025!”

We congratulate Jimmy with this incredible honor that shows his dedication to teaching and his students.
