Diffuse optical spectroscopy to study changes im mammary physiology during pregnancy

The development of the breast during pregnancy plays a key role in preparation for breastfeeding. However, the absolute changes in human breast tissue composition during and after pregnancy are not completely understood. The poster shows your first insights into haemodynamic changes occurring in the human breast during and after pregnancy as measured with Diffuse Optical Spectroscopy.
