Join our "Bring your own lunch symposium" during the Research Funding Weeks!

Are you working in the domain of health and healthcare? Do you have the ambition to contribute to the innovation of healthcare? During this workshop, you will learn how to identify and navigate challenges relating to the development, evaluation, and implementation of health technology innovations in clinical practice. We will provide an overview of available support at TechMed, and you will gain some hands-on experience with innovation and implementation support tools.

Research Funding Weeks

Next to the content-specific sessions oriented by UT grant experts, you will also find a satellite programme from Faculties and research support units, tailor-made to specific communities.

At the UT, we do excellent research on health tech innovation. Still, it remains difficult to bring those innovations to society and the healthcare market and create the impact we want to achieve: improving healthcare. To enlarge the impact of health technology on society, an integral approach is needed to take into account more than solely a mere technical focus on the creation of (smart) products and services. For instance, a social-economic, ethical, governance, behavioral and cultural perspective that influence adoption and acceptance of novel technologies. Early involvement of stakeholders and end-users prevent ‘mismatches’ in research, ensure commitment and understanding, but also attract fertile investors.
