INVITATION

! THIS SYMPOSIUM IS IN DUTCH !

We cordially invite you to the physical symposium "Appropriate care for people with cancer: the role of radiotherapy," which is organized prior to the dissertation ceremony of Jelle Evers, junior clinical data scientist at IKNL and PhD candidate at the University of Twente. He will defend his thesis titled "Radiotherapy treatment patterns in the Netherlands: Insights from the Netherlands Cancer Registry."

In the collaborative NVRO-IKNL project "Radiotherapy in the Netherlands – Insight through Overview," Evers has mapped the trends in the application of radiotherapy for various tumor types based on data from the Dutch Cancer Registry. In the discussion of his thesis, he will also address the expected trends in the future based on projections. The symposium follows this theme, focusing on the future role of radiotherapy, including new technologies and the trend of appropriate care, also in the context of the Integral Care Agreement.
