Plant Cuttings Exchange

Join us for a nice activity during lunch break where gardening enthusiasts can both share and receive plant cuttings. The Plant Cutting Exchange is an ideal gathering for anyone passionate about plants—from beginners looking to start their first collection to expert gardeners seeking to diversify their greenery.

Unfortunately, the production of houseplants that you can buy in stores is usually not very sustainable. They are often grown in energy-intensive greenhouses and use lots of resources to grow. Luckily, growing your houseplants from plant cuttings is a much more sustainable way to enjoy them. So let's bring the community together and contribute to a more sustainable houseplant production!

Add a boost of oxygen and aesthetics to your home or office by getting a plant cutting! It's easier than planting from seeds and it's a small step you can take towards a more circular future! We will also provide some cuttings from our plants, so do not worry if you do not own plants yet, it's the perfect opportunity to start! Let's support SDG15 Life on land together!

What to expect?

  • Plant Swap: Bring cuttings, take new ones. Expand your garden diversity.
  • Quick Guides: Learn to cut and care for plants post-swap.
  • Insightful Talks: Discover plants' health benefits from guests and researchers.
