Beginners and experienced golfers can participate in these courses. During the golf course we work together on your goals and you will experience the enjoyment of the golf game even more (or again)!
Golfclub Driene is a 10-minute bike ride from the campus. Golf professional Hugo de Bruin awaits you for the first lesson at the golf shop. You can borrow materials at the golf club (group 1 and 2), advanced players (group 3 and 4) have to bring their own equipment.
Please wear comfortable and covering clothes and golf shoes/sport shoes.
This course period we have courses for four different levels.

Who: Everbody who wants to learn about golf without experience or a level.
Goal: Get you enthusiastic for golf and learn about the basic elements.
How: Driving range and shortgame course
Groupmaximum: Maximum of 6 participants
Required level: None
Level at the end of the course:
- 2-3 of the 5 balls can be hit straight forward covering a distance of 75-100m
- 2-3 of the 5 balls can be pitched 50m
- 2-3 of the 5 balls from 10-20m chipped on the green

Who: Advanced Golfers who do not own golf equipment or Golfers with their own equipment but do not possess the level which you will reach at the end of the beginner course.
Goal: Gain more experience in Golf and get you more interested in the sport.
How: Driving range, shortgame course and big course.
Groupmaximum: Maximum of 6 participants.
Required level: The same level you will reach when you have completed the Beginner course.
Level at the end of the course:
- 2-3 of the 5 balls can be hit straight forward covering a distance of 100m or more in the golfcourse
- 2-3 of the 5 balls can be pitched 50m and controlled in the golfcourse
- 2-3 of the 5 balls from 10-20m chipped on the green in the golfcourse
- Some knowledge of the golf rules via https://www.golf.nl/golfsport

Who: Advanced Golfers who own their own golf equipment.
Goal: Gain further knowledge of the rules via https://www.golf.nl/golfsport and take a rulesexam.
Handicap registration at the NGF. Bring your gamelevel to 5 above par for courtpermission or 3 above par for GVB/handicap 54.
How: Theoretical exam at Golfculb Driene with required handicap registration. Play during the lesson and practice.
Groupmaximum: Maximum of 4 participants.
Required level: The same level you will reach when you have completed the Advanced course and your own golf equipment.
Level at the end of the course:
- Passed for theoretical exam and gamelevel of a minimum of 5 above par (courtpermission)
Our goal during this 10 week course is to reach this level. It is possible that you will not reach this level during this 10 weeks course if you can't practice yourself.
Therefore you can also register for a practice subscription for €35,- a month at Golfculb Driene. This will give you access to the range, puttinggreen and shortgame court as well. Also included are free ballkeys for driving range balls (deposit key €25)

Goal: Take your golf skills to the next level with this course. You can participate if you already have your GVB (group 3 course).
Groupmaximum: Maximum of 6 participants.
