15.00 - 17.00: Optional excursion Enschede-Saxion

In the afternoon before the Welcome at the University of Twente campus, we offer an optional excursion for the early arrivers to visit the interdisciplinary Smart Solutions projects and students at Saxion (https://www.saxion.edu/about-saxion). Opportunities and issues regarding initiating, implementing and scaling-up interdisciplinary projects in collaboration between academies and programmes, education and industry, as well as societal partners will be shown. Including addressing questions and discussing leadership implications.

  • Further information
    • If you participate, you can take a direct train to the city of Enschede on your arrival day, it is only a short walking distance to Saxion. We will make sure your luggage can be stored during the excursion. Afterwards, we will take care of transport to Campus.
    • This excursion will take place between 14:45 hours till 17:00 hours (starting with welcome drinks, ends at 17:00 hours at the latest) and you will be on the UT Campus well on time for the Welcome reception, taking place around 18:15 hours/18:30 hours.
