* Combine with a profile course of choice
** These profile courses are in the Dutch language.

It is not allowed to change the core courses, unless you have an explicit advice from your study adviser to do so.

Although we do not recommend it because we cannot give you a profile on your diploma, a mix and match of courses in the profile space is not explicitly forbidden.

The thesis will always be 25 EC. When you will work on your thesis more extensively depends on the chosen profile, see the Q (Quartile) numbers in the tables.

This year:

  • The profile Communication Media is renamed in Digital media. One course has been substituted in this profile.
  • In the profile Water management the course 201800021 Water management and Governance is substituted for the course 201900034 Urban Resilience in a changing climate. This course gives a broader view on urban changes for climate change, including preparing for drought or water floods.
  • The profile Higher Education has been replaced for the profile Evidence-based Policy. Guidance for the thesis in Higher Education Policy is available.
