Symposium: Citizenship in a digital society

The society we live in is rapidly digitalizing: new digital technologies are being developed, introduced, and adopted. Moreover, these new technologies are becoming an integral part of everyday life, to the extent that we cannot do without them.

What does this mean for us as citizens? CTIT, the ICT-research institute of the University of Twente, is organizing an inspiring symposium on Tuesday November 1, 2016.

Taking ICT research and technology as our starting point, we consider the scientifical, technical, and societal challenges for supporting citizenship in a digital society, together with colleagues from other scientific disciplines, government, and companies. We are currently in the process of selecting opinionated speakers, looking at potential demo's, and involving junior researchers to present their cutting-edge solutions. Of course, there will be plenty of time to meet-and-greet.

By and large, it will be a not-to-be-missed symposium.

Be sure to visit our CTIT symposium and mark November 1 in your calendar!
