Nano4Society Nanotechnology: Technology of the future for health, energy, food and safety

Over the past 10 years nanotechnology has seen dramatic developments. After the discovery and development of innovative nanomaterials, nanodevices and nanosystems, today industry has picked up this disruptive breakthrough technology and nano-innovations are commercialized big-scale. The moment has come to tackle the big societal challenges in the fields of health, energy, agro/food and security using the fantastic available nano-toolbox in a joint effort with all stakeholders. In this KNAW-forum activity international experts will present their vision on how with the help of nanotechnology the world will have a sustainable future in 2050.
